PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: Subtitle Routing Automation for Sony Pictures Networks India
TSL has delivered an industry-first solution to automate multi-language subtitle routing at Sony Pictures Networks India’s new Tier 4-certified playout facility in Mumbai.
Leveraging TSL’s GTP-V1 Virtual Control Platform and “Anything-to-Anything” automation, with NAT-based routing intelligence developed in-house, the system dynamically aligns closed-caption encoders to 20 active channels in real time. This eliminates manual path switching, minimizes human error and provides seamless automated failover for mission-critical resilience. The deployment integrates Imagine Communications Versio, Grass Valley Sirius routers, Skyline DataMiner and BroadStream Polistream as a collaborative innovation between Sony & TSL.
