– TSL Products and partners announce new seminar date in Johannesburg to address key issues surrounding IP workflows for broadcast –

MARLOW, UK – 23 May 2016 – TSL Products, the leading broadcast equipment manufacturer, is pleased to confirm that the Professional Seminar Series (PSS) will return to Johannesburg on 8th June 2016, and will be hosted by Inala Broadcast.  After seven successive years touring the Middle East and India, the PSS returns to Johannesburg for a second year bringing expert knowledge from TSL Products, Inala Broadcast and leading brands Axon, Dolby and Tektronix. It provides a powerful thought leadership platform to bring together the global television broadcasting community, discussing the current and future challenges facing the broadcast, satellite, terrestrial, cable and IPTV industries.

Professionals from each of the participating manufacturers will advise how broadcasters and content distributors can tackle hot industry issues, new technologies and workflows as well as ways in which content delivery is changing. The theme of this year’s PSS is “Enabling IP workflows for Broadcast”; , key topics for discussion include “How IP workflows will impact broadcast control systems” from TSL Products, “IP, the backbone of the industry” by Axon, “Delivering new consumer experiences with next generation codecs” with Dolby and “Introduction to IP Video and PTP” by Tektronix.

Tim Weston Regional Sales Manager, TSL Products, commented, “With six successful years behind the PSS series, and now in our second year in South Africa, PSS is now viewed as a staple event in the calendar. This year we will be reviewing the enormous changes that have occurred in the last 12 months in the world of Audio and Video over IP, with our Product Manager, Dan Bailey presenting our thoughts on IP and leading a Q&A. I think we can expect some lively discussions and ideas around the future of Audio and Video over IP.”

PSS South Africa takes place on Wednesday 8th June at the Holiday Inn Sandton, Rivonia Road, Sandton, Johannesburg.
