TSL PRODUCTS TO UNVEIL TM1 MK2 SYSTEM CONTROLLER FOR TALLYMAN RANGE OF BROADCAST CONTROL SYSTEMS AT IBC 2014
MARLOW, UK – 1 September 2014 –TSL Products will present its new TM1 MK2 system controller on Stand 10.B41 at IBC 2014. The new model will be the most significant addition to TSL Products’ TallyMan control system range since its inception, and has been developedin close consultation with end users and system integrators.
As broadcast facilities have become more complex and the demand for monitoring and control capabilities has increased, the amount of controllable systems and the volume of available data have grown exponentially. The TM1 MK2 eliminates potential bottlenecks by providing dual gigabit Ethernet connectivity to ensure that crucial communication is seamlessly transported, while its superior processing power will guarantee real time data and control across any facility.
A particular arena where flexible control is paramount is outside broadcasting, where power, grounding, space and weight provide significant challenges. The TM1 MK2 addresses these needs with dual redundant hot-swappable power supplies and by providing all GPO in the form of isolated relays, while occupying only 1U of rack space with an approximate weight of just 2.5kg.
Initial configuration can be performed from the front panel or via the unit’s local web page, eliminating the need for adaptors and specific cables.
Daniel Bailey, Product Manager, Control Systems, TSL Products, said, “Since its initial development the TallyMan control system has grown considerably to encompass a complete facility control solution, with functions including signal path monitoring and control, tally, global naming and labeling, preset and salvo recall and device control across a broad range of broadcast devices. The TM1 MK2 is a crucial addition to the product family that will address the increasing requirement for simple, intuitive and flexible control across ever more complex systems.”
The TM1 MK2 will be available for demonstration on Stand 10.B41 at IBC 2014.
