TSL Products unveils PAM PiCo Touch Media
– New addition to PAM PiCo range combines high quality audio, loudness and video waveform monitoring in a single unit –
LAS VEGAS, USA – 13 April 2015 – TSL Products has unveiled PAM PiCo Touch Media, the latest addition to the growing PAM PiCo family. PAM PiCo Touch Media includes all the audio and loudness monitoring features of the acclaimed PAM PiCo Touch and adds a touch-controlled high precision video waveform monitor, providing a portable yet powerful all-in-one monitoring unit for all types of production. The PAM PiCo Touch Media will be available for demonstration on TSL Products’ stand N5112 at NAB 2015.

The PAM PiCo Touch Media unit features a 7” multi-touch screen that combines the familiarity and ease of use of consumer touch screen technology with the sophisticated features required for today’s TV, radio and music sound production.
The PAM PiCo Touch Media approaches video waveform monitoring in the same simple yet detailed manner with which it approaches audio and loudness monitoring. The video waveform provides a comprehensive display of key aspects of the video components and can be displayed either as a vectorscope or in parade mode showing the different components side by side. This makes the PAM PiCo Touch Media ideal for monitoring parameters including gamut margin, dynamic range, exposure, white balance and black level.
The PiCo Touch Media menu set-up is completely customisable with up to 11 presets allowing users to configure screens to suit their needs, while the touch screen allows them to move effortlessly between presets.
Audio features include real time display and logging of all relevant loudness parameters, True Peak level and corresponding peak channel identification, as well as critical integrated loudness information. It has a Master 5.1 Surround meter, 16 channel bargraph display, 3G HD-SDI, AES and analogue inputs, and video preview. The PiCo Touch Media is also available as a rack mountable version with headphone and USB ports on the front of the enclosure for ease of access.
